New Brunswick | Every Extraordinary Moment Counts

Day Adventures: One part day. Many parts adventure.

The Bay of Fundy is not only attractive to visitors of the human variety. It’s also an attractive locale to visitors of the whale variety. And we’re not sure whale “watching” is the best way to describe these up-close encounters. Whale “hanging-out-with” is a bit more apt, but still doesn’t do justice to the excitement offered in the array of excursions available. In addition to whale-watching, you can take part in bear-watching, birdwatching, and lots more wildlife “watching”. MORE>

If you think spoons are just used for eating soup, you haven’t been to a Maritime Kitchen Party yet. A pair of spoons lightly tapped against the upper leg is a familiar sound, when paired with a fiddle and the singing of lots of traditional New Brunswick folk songs. Take part in the warmth and fun of this New Brunswick tradition, all on a backdrop of a quaint Miramichi Kitchen. Or, consider visiting a charming mythical Acadian village and the incredible theatrical performance of Le Pays de la Sagouine while you sit back and experience the lore firsthand. Let the kids embrace a bit of east coast culture when they experience the artsy and creative fun of Artworks, or the historical and interactive fun of A Day in a Soldier’s Life. MORE>

Not all boats are simply a matter of eventless floating on the water’s surface. Not in New Brunswick, anyway. Splash through the rapids on a jet boat that rushes on the exciting Reversing Falls. Or, for seafood buffs looking to realize a dream, take part in some lobster fishing. Which, of course, concludes with lobster eating! MORE>

Dramatic coastline, jagged cliffs and picturesque inlets await discovery. And yet, a gorgeous environment is just one of the perks of paddling in New Brunswick. The other? Experiencing the World’s Highest Tides from an unrivalled vantage point, of course. In addition to kayaking or canoeing, why not learn how to paddle a traditional Voyageur canoe as well? MORE>

To be a tourist can mean many things. And the exploring that we do can take many forms. From exploring on foot to exploring on wheels, New Brunswick offers visitors an array of that which yearns to be discovered. Hop on an ATV or a bicycle. Or throw on a pair of hiking boots. And then, prepare to conquer caves, gardens, rock faces, and coastline on any one of our incredible tours. MORE >
